Our Team
The GoToConnect Contact Center as a Service group (CCaaS) at GoTo is responsible for developing all frontend applications and backend services for chats, call control, reporting, big data analytics and platform events within GoTo’s CCaaS offering. The group is fast-paced and always eager to try any new technologies that solve our product requirements.
This is a team of doers. We don't hide behind reviews, change control, or validation outside of the team. We are responsible for the automated testing, application design, choice of tools, deployment, operation, and lifecycle of our applications. With this autonomy comes great responsibility. To make this work, we expect everyone on the team to understand the impact their changes might have on other teams and the larger GoToConnect platform as a whole and to consider all aspects of software design on a daily basis.
Your Day to Day
As a Software Developer you would be working on
  • Developing new services and features using Typescript/React, NodeJS and Java.
  • Ensuring the quality of the delivered software.
  • Deploying and operating services in production.
  • Ensuring scalability and availability of the team’s services.
  • Collaborating with product owners and user experience designers to deliver features while meeting team deadlines.
  • Collaborating with the team to architect and design robust, resilient, and maintainable frontend applications in an Agile environment.
What We’re Looking For
As a Software Developer, your background will look like
  • A good grasp and/or willingness to learn and work in some front-end tasks in ReactJS.
  • A good understanding of Java and/or Nodejs.
  • BS degree in computer science or related engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience in the software industry.
  • 2+ years of experience working as full stack developer.
  • Experience working in an agile environment with CI/CD processes.
